Landscape
painter Bob Rohm paints every day either in his studio attached to
his home
outside of Dallas or while traveling the United States pulling his
small camping trailer behind his SUV.
As
a child Rohm showed artistic talent, but it wasn't until an aunt took
him to an Impressionist exhibit
at the Philadelphia Museum of Art that
he knew he wanted to be an artist. Rohm graduated from York Academy
of Art with a degree in illustration. He worked in the video industry
for
some time before devoting himself to his painting.
Rohm
took workshops from noted artists Albert Handell, Dan Gerhartz, Matt
Smith and Ann
Templeton. Rohm now gives workshops across the country
and has two instructional videos, "The Pastel Landscape" and "The
Oil Landscape." He is represented in galleries in the southwest
and west.
